Damon and Pythias
In the greek myth i performed in, i was the narrator, but i chose a picture of a Harpy because it looks cool. We chose the Harpy as one of the obstacles in the story Damon and Pythias. In the story, the tyrant Dionysius has a dream that Pythias was trying to overthrow him, so he wants him dead. Pythias asks for time to settle his affairs, in exchange for his friend damon who is kept hostage. Pythias shows up the last minute, and leaps into his friends arms. When Dionysius sees this, he befriends the two because of their loyalty for each other. The theme of this story is Trust. It shows how loyal the two friends are, how Damon never doubted Pythias's return, and how Pythias's returned instead of fleeing. They both risked their lives for each other, and in the end, Dionysius changed his mind, and everyone lives happily ever after.
